Editing Table Properties
To edit the table properties you have to load them into the property
pane.
- The table properties are displayed in the properties pane when you select a
table. A table is selected through the Select menu after clicking on
any cell in the table body. Through this method you can also directly select
one of several
nested tables.
- As a shortcut you can simply double-click on any body cell of the table.
- The table properties are then loaded in the property pane. The Table
and Border tabs come from the tables style sheet. The settings
in the style sheet can be reused in other tables. The Totals and
Filter tabs come from the actual table. The filter tab is used to

outside of the table. Page totals and running totals must be placed in the page

Filtering/Sorting/Grouping Properties
This tab appears only when a table (and not just a table style) is selected.
It does not appear when you are editing the style alone.
It displays the various settings from the wizard for reference. The filter,
the sorting and the header rows can be edited.

- Collection

provides the column fields for the table.

- Sorting

new table with the wizard.
- Header Rows
- This specifies the number of rows above the table, that are considered as
header rows. Header rows are kept together with the first row of the table,
they are formatted using the table style and they will be repeated on each new
page. If you increase the value more lines above the table will become part of
the table. (No rows are added or deleted)
